Beta Testers for reflash software.

After much discussion we are setting up a beta testing solution for the reflash software.

I have tried to contact individuals who has previously expressed an interest in being a beta tester but have not gotten any responses.

We are looking for a few individuals who have the following:

a) tactrix 2.0 cable
b) windows laptop with internet access (it has to be able to connect with the map server to download maps and such but not necessarily while flashing the car).
c) Eclipse GT or GS auto or manual stock or modified
d) wideband gauge installed on the vehicle. This is a good idea to know that the map actually changed the air/fuel ratios!
e) Some mechanical knowledge would be an asset.
f) Time to do some software testing, reflash their car a few times and provide feedback and suggestions.

There will be two different versions of the software.
a) Dealer version that will ultimately give access to build tunes and sell them to users or provide custom tuning. There are thousands of parameters that could possibly be changed and we feel that this is just too much for a general enthusiast to understand and for us to support. As a result dealers will be able to have the expertise understand all the consequences of settings changes.

b) user version with allows some user adjustment but is mostly intended for an individual to program an already researched and tested map into their vehicle - or set it back to stock as they wish.

Those who have already purchased mail-in reflashes already have VIN licenses so there is no cost associated with participating. The others get a software license and a performance tune (VIN license) for $200. This is a significant discount off the $500 retail price and it is understood that it's being given in exchange for the feedback and testing.

If you are interested in participating, there will be a non-disclosure agreement as the software is still in development we want the ability to get feedback and make changes without this development process being disclosed to others.

If you are interested please send an email to uvtune@gmail.com. I expect we should be shipping beta test software by Monday.

Supported Vehicles are as follows:
2004-2006 Lancer Ralliart 4g69
2006-Present Eclipse 4g69/6g75 and MIVEC
2004-2006 Outlander 4g69 (Supercharger kits avaiable)
2004-Present Endeavour 6g75
2004-Galant 4g69/6g75 and MIVEC
