Should I buy another Dsm?

Well. My last experience in buying a dsm went terrible...but mainly to factors such as shitty mechanics...lack of funds...high km car...etc.

I'm thinking about doing it all over again but doing it alittle better. Would I have a reliable daily driver if I purchased something with no more then 110k, for 8k? I'd like to ask you guys if you ever bought a clean dsm for alot of $$$...and is it reliable for you?

Seb.

I bought mine for low $ with low km for the year in march (93 with 194,000km) it now has 200,100km and not one issue. Mind you, it's a non turbo, so it is more reliable then what you would normaly find.

As far as maintenance goes it seems the ESi out live the TSi's by a long shot...

If your looking to just hope in the crank up the boost and off you go. DON"T GET A DSM.

If your willing to read/learn/ become your own mechanic your tsi will lIVE. my 1990 awd tsi had 328,000kms on it and i was running 23 psi DD.

Pm me and i'll chat with you on difference and pros and cons on 1g to 2g and we'll see what you want. I"m also looking to sell or trade my 1995 awd tsi talon that highly modified with 73,000 miles on it.
