Whats better

I was just wondering who makes a better short throw B and M or Fidanza for the talons????:smilie_da

B&M. The Fidanza doesn't have bump-stops, so its possible to over-throw the shift and break a cable, damage a shift fork or rail.

is it even worth the hastle ??? i mean if these tranny are prone to breaking from some hard shifting....why further the risk by increasing wear on the synchros by shortning the throw of gear changes ??

b&m would be better but shortthrow shifters are notorious for damaging trannys but my talon came with one and my tranny seems fine btu i really dont find itany easier to shift with speed

Ive always said that if you know how to drive there is no point to install a short shifter, i had a 1989 honda prelude si and i could not notice a difference between the stock shifter and the short throw.

V-TecKilla 02-28-2008 03:26 PM

b&m is the way to go

WNNAFLY 04-01-2008 01:29 PM

I had a B&M and it works good. Changes the feeling of shifting a lot and doesn't look as stupid as the stock shifter.

Watch out for the fakes on ebay.
