...battery? charged battery 12.8 volts started engine 12.3 volts reved no change . i think i blew the fuse in my fluke meter my stator has 2 flat blade connector inserted 1 lead on 1 terminal and 1 on the negitive side of battery the fluke meter red lead was in the A PORT the black lead was in common so to read amps the meter started beeping and flashed lead --what happend

To read amps the meter should be inline with the battery . You didn't try to attach the meter = red lead to the batt pos. and black or common to the battery neg did you?
