A buddy of mine bought a Harley!?
 

I?ve had crotch rockets for years, but Harley is starting to creep into my mind.















Maybe I?m tired of keeping the weight off, or because I never really had a pony tail, even when I was a head banger.















I?m thinking of a Dyna Wide Glide or a Softtail custom, and your idea is???? Huh?

Harleys Rock!

Started with a rice burner. Crazy not to. Started my H-D with a Sporty. (Avatar pic) Now I have an FXDWG. (On my 360 page.) I'm almost 50 now, and the recliner like comfort of the big pig, all decked out with nerf bars and hiway pegs is much easier on the back and legs for long trips.































I never had a pony tail. Flat top haircut for years. Got a few tat's, but you can't see 'em unless I wear my "A" shirt. Take a peek at my FXDWG (The Dyna Wide Glide that you mentioned.) on my 360 page, or I can send you a pic via e-mail.































She's a bit heavy in the parking lots, but with the TC-88 she don't feel heavy at all when she is moving. The Dyna is a good choice since you can keep it stripped, or load on the goodies. I have nerfs, hiway pegs, a puss-screen, etc.































And progressive shocks. I sit about 2 inches lower than stock. And I have the tool to adjust them. Soft-tail is OK if you don't have to worry about what you carry on the back and have a good foot plant with the stock seat and shocks.

I've been riding HOGs for a long time. Started with an Ironhead sporty, and I learned never to drive it further than I wanted to push it back. Hated the damn kickstart. ent to EVO sporty, Lowrider, springer and now a Heritage Classic. Harleys are not for everyone, only the few, the proud.... you know the routine.

The real question is what are you looking for in a bike? The sportiness and flickability of a crotch roket or the laid back cruisiness of the Harley .
