Ive heard that the shock and frames are really cheap and weak and bend. I would say go used for something reliable.

I've had the same question, about both bikes and quads, and my conclusion based on my experiences with cars is that you're much better to get a Honda or Toyota with 50,000 miles than a Hyundai or Kia or Daewoo with 0 miles, because the Honda or Toyota will run forever (with proper maintainence) and the Korean Imitation Automobiles will have numerous problems while still under warranty. But the warranty work sucks because the parts are hard to find and they're more expensive than the Japanese and American parts.

So, while I don't have experience with the Chinese models, I'm much more comfortable with a 3 year old Japanese bike or quad than I am with a shiny, new Chinese one. Even if it's for no more reason than the fact that I know that if something breaks I can get replacement parts easily.

Good luck!
