does the 1980 Honda CX-500 D motorcycle have a kick start? If so,...

...where?...? I have this bike i just bought and the previous owner took some things apart. i've noticed the absence of a kick start, and im wondering if there even is one, and if so where to reattach it.

It Would Be On The Right Side , Close To The Footpeg If It Has One It Would Be A Small Gear Looking Thing To Attach To

The CX-500 is a 'longitudinal shaft' machine. I it has a kickstart it will look different, it will be perpendicular to the driveshaft, therefore perpendicular to the bike. Some old BMW twins have kickstarters like this.But 1980 was when manufacturers started dropping kickstarters and relying on electric start. I'm guessing your CX doesn't have one.
