does taking the sprak arrester off of a dirt bike exhaust add any performance?
 

just askin cuz i just took mine aff and i always see ppl with them offjust to make things clear its the thing the when u unscrew the tip ot the exhaust that little black insert comes out and you have a big whole in the back

in fact in most times taking it off makes the bike run worse . Engines need the right type of back presssure and with out it engines will not run properly and run much much hoter. only way it helps if you have altered the bike to run faster IE different cylinder cans or other items.
