Full G = M1

Someone told my that basically once you get your full G license for your car it counts as an M1 if you wanted to ride a motorcycle and that you can ride a motorcycle under the rules of M1 riders just wondering if this was true.

They're mistaken. A full G does not count as anything toward a motorcycle license. You cannot ride any motorcycle without writing the M1 test.

Maybe they were referring to the fact that the written M1 test has a large percentage of questions from the regular driving book.

If you have your full M you are allowed to drive a car though. Perhaps they messed that up. But when you are driving the car you are considered to be a G1 driver so you require a passenger who has there full G licence. So maybe its just best to let them drive. LOL
