Gettin sled tuned up?

ok so soon ill be gettin my sled tuned up for the winter. i got a 96' arctic cat ZR 580. i got it last year but i never got to ride it because i took the clutch off and i couldnt get it back on. it seems like the bolts wont line up. also my belt is brand new and it is the right one but it looks WICKED loose. why would that be ? could you help me out? i really want to ride this year. also what are some things i can do to it while im waiting for it to get tuned up? im gonna paint the pipe and stuff. thanks to anyone who helps me out with this.how much do you think it would cost?

Snowmobiles come with a variable speed transmission. This style of transmission uses weights to expand the two variable gears through rapid spinning. As the engine speeds up so does the transmission and as the weights spin they force the disc to press on the belt causing it to expand and retract. Cold you tell me what bolts you are referring to and I'll tell you what you're doing wrong.
