yes the best bike for you is the one that when you sit on it it feels right feet on the floor arms comfortable, next when you give it gas it doesn't climb out from under you take your time look at a lot of them and don't buy the first 4 you try trust me your local salesman

I am a female rider, you should start off with something small since you aren't a rider like a 250,Suzuki is a good bike that's what i started off with then i went to a 500 and rode like a beast, but then my husband got a Suzuki 1000 and i rode and rode until i super good, now i have a Suzuki 1000 and of course he got it painted pink and silver with my play girl bunny on the sides of it.he just go him a high booser and i ride it but it's too dang fast for me but i will get the habit and steal his bike.......but Suzuki is a great bike for starters and quality.

My CB-1 (399cc) is a great starter for girls!

- Surprise the supersport boys as you rev to 13,500
- loud and menancing sound
- easy to ride, low height, quick but not crazy
- CHEAP INSURANCE
- GREAT STYLING, gather a crowd at the timmies

Beyond that consider, Ninja 250, Honda CBR125, Suz. GS500 or Suz. SV650.

Starter Bike

What kind of bikes do you like? Cruisers/sportbikes?

I'd find a nice used one that you like and are comfortable on. I wouldn't go for anything over a 600 in a sportbke to start on.

haha nice grammer and spelling there nikki "high booser" anyway if you've never ridden a bike before then it would be good to start with something low in power and weight for its class. if you;ve ridden dirtbikes before or have some kind of knowledge in riding something with a clutch and hand throttle then i wouldnt worry about power, just be mature and dont think youre gonna get on it first time and be gettin calls from moto gp. we dont know anything about you like your size or prefrence of bike category but id say a good bike to learn on would be a gs500 or a newer gsxr600. the gsxr has a nice low centre of gravity and is light weight so very easy to manuever around parkinglots but it is gonna be a little powerful if you;ve never ridden any bike before. like rogger said it would be best to go to dealers or private sellers and sit on a bunch of them and make sure you can stand it up easy and your feet reach the ground without being on your tipy toes
