Look at the exhaust and see how burnt it is...Take it for a ride and see if it slips through gears...check out the plastics/paint. Check out the pipe, make sure it's not dented. Check the mileage, and year it was made. Check the serial number, make sure it's not hot. Make sure all the electrical fixings are in tact (turn signals, oil light, gas guage, etc) work. Check the steering column...if it's straight, it may need some tweeking. On that note, check the forks and tree. Much to take into consideration. But man, go for it! Crotch rockets are the !!!! Only bike you can get away from the cops from! Done it 7 times! Average speed for me, 120 mph....do it up!
