Officer injured in motorcycle collision with pit bull
A San Francisco police officer riding a motorcycle in the Bayview district was injured Wednesday when he fell from his bike after it struck a pit bull that suddenly ran into the middle of the street, police said. The dog was killed and the officer, who was not named, suffered abrasions and was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. The officer was riding his motorcycle eastbound in the 800 block of Innes Street when the accident occurred. Police said the officer is in some pain, but in good condition. |
