starter bike?
 

hi im a new rider, i want to buy a bike next summer, whats a good starter bike?? and if u have one for sale let me know

i wud recomend a 600cc

i find the yamaha r6 starting from 99, the most suitable for starters. even though some ppl say that the honda cbr 600 is more userfreindlier and easier to handle then the r6.

u shud test ride anything u buy before u buy it.

if you are a brand new rider, and young, go with a kawasaki ninja 250, fun small bike to learn on, you can throw it around easy, and its dirt cheap on insurance!

yeh id recomend thos eas well unless u wanna go bigger an dkill ur self.
My first bike was a suzuki gs500. Im up to a gsx r1100. big diff but alot of fun.

600 cc is a great bike to start on

If you start off w/ a 600cc, just be REAL careful! I know way too many new riders go down on 600cc. GOOD LUCK!

any 250cc or 500cc bikes is a good starter bike not only there easy to handle the insurance rate on this bikes are reasonable unlike the 600cc SuperSportbikes high insurance rate but if u can get a hands on a 125cc or 250cc 2-stroke sportbikes this bikes also great & fun 2 ride easy 2 handle have similar power band of a supersportbikes eg. NSR 250/400, RGV 250, TZR250, RZ 350 but the only problem is that most of this bikes never made it here n North American market but if u can get ur hands on this bikes get it or pm im looking for one myself:wink: :wink:

any bike is fun, the size of the bike depends on what you are comfortable with. I know poeple that started out on 250's and had them owned by halfway through the first season. They said they needed more power and sportier bike, but i guess it depends on what you want and what you can afford. I started out on a cbr 600 f4i and i have no regrets at all. If your not a biggie on power and handling take a 250-500cc street bike and if your dying for some speed and think you will be bored with the small bikes move to a 600. The guys have started a good general list of bikes so far so look into them.

I started off on a Suzuki GS550 - Easy to handle and cheap on insurance

depends on your size no bigger than 600 for first bike ins will eat u and that size is still really fast

600 biggest eben a r6 will hold u for a while b4 upgrade
