Get something cheaper and older 2000-2003 so when you drop it, you wont be so down about it. It will save you alot of money. Beat the hell out of it learning and then get something new. Hondas hold up better with less maintenance but Suzukis are alot more fun. Oh yeah, buy a clymer manual and a tool set and learn to do the maintanance yourself, it will save you ALOT of money and time without your bike. As far as your height and weight , it wouldnt be a problem for you to ride any bike, if you want it to handle well then you should set the suspension to your weight and seating position for your riding style (youll probably need help to do this).
