the guy probly isnt even gonna use it for raceing so whats the point? just to say his car is carbon fibre?

If it's CF then there have to be moulds. Making moulds are the time consuming and expensive part of the whole CF process. If he races it and cracks a fender off who cares, the mould is already there. Just make a new one.
