skyline

Are they sold in Canada?
If so, what's the average price for one?
Do you know approximately how much used skylines go for?

There are a few R32's, and R33's around. There was a GTS-T on here for sale a while back. They go anywhere from $10000, up. PM Ztuned on here, he's got an R32.

I have a 89 AWD GTS-4 w/RB20DET w/T28 R33 Turbo.
It was painted 2 weeks ago but was broken into last week.
The Passenger Door has 2 golf ball size dents and I just
picked up the 2 new windows and belt moldings.
It is very clean with several mods. I will let it go as is for
$8200 w/o Rims or $11,500 cert+etested and all the body work done.
Email me at R32skyline_GT@hotmail.com or
phone at 613-885-4007 and ask for Waide

There are a few shops out there ive seen them stock R32's for as low as 7k but it just depends where you look and whether or not you want a clean one.

Make sure you do your homework so that you know what the problem areas are. Also check with your insurance.

Anyone know how hard it would be to buy in canada and bring to the US

Oh dear... I thought I'd escape these topics on a Canadian forum...

**** I IN NO WAY CONDONE THE FOLLOWING, HOWEVER I DON'T LIKE BEING ****ED WITH OUR IMPORTATION LAWS****

Have the Canadian owner of the car drive it to you. Ship unnecessary parts (read: owner) back on plane, preferably 1st class. A little money for a cocktail in the sky never hurt either, after all they just drove their ass a long distance ;) At this point you can swap vin's with a 240 which is absolutely retarded, or you can get to work removing the VIN numbers. This will of course require body work, and you scavenging for them like like a car thief. After they are removed, make carbon copied receipts for all the necessary car parts that would be required to make a unibody chassis driveable. Keep these receipts together and call the local police to come inspect your KIT CAR so you can get the waiver to register it at the local DMV. They will assign it a new VIN. Be sure to tell them that it's not based on an existing car, otherwise they will want that VIN. At that point you get your plates, etc. Then call your insurance company, tell them you need an appraiser sent out so you can get an agreed value for your kit car. Drive.

Note: I do not support either of these methods. Be sure to research your state's laws on kit cars.

I am currently importing four cars, two of which are skyline gts-t. They are all beautiful cars and can sell as low as 7500. I will give lots of photos and a full description from the dealer. I am looking for anyone who wants to put a down payment, the cars will be the lowest price if negotiated before importation. If you have any question or would like so see a car, my email is titan_cool@hotmail.com.

ill like to see pics of ur skylines for sale

themaskeduser 06-10-2008 10:04 AM

For the most part, you can pretty much call up your local importers for the cars. IMHO it's usually less hassle buying from an owner in Canada than to bring one in yourself. (You have to deal with the compliance factors, and tons of paperwork but you do end up saving quite a bit).
If price is a concern, you could take a look at the Skylines that are available in Canada right now.

Your current list of options consist of the:
r32 GTR's
r32 Gtst's
r33's gtst's

Try checking out the skyline forum, you'll find quite a number of users who have cars for sale, including a number of importers. Hope that helps

r32s range from about 10k-15k depending on condition and mileage. you can check out tiger japanese or oni jdm if you're interested.
