What Is Causing My Rough Idle?

my accel. hesitation has stopped, but i still have rough idle, what causes this ? need help

mr.mitsu 04-10-2006 05:38 PM

???????

you could have a bad idle air control valve, bad plugs, bad distributer cap & rotor, a bad wire, bad O2 sensor, too many things too list, it usually isn't a bad idea to take it to someone who knows what they are doing, if you just start replacing parts it could cost more in the long run, than just having it diagnosed and fixed in the first place :dunno:

It could also be that your throttle body needs cleaning..

Ken 06-16-2006 01:58 PM

wow

did you come up with that one all by yourself, or did you stay up all night on the web trying to find another possible cause. Did you want me go on listing things that cause a rough idle there is only about 101.

What that your feeble attempt at an insult? If it was, you better go back and get some better material. Rather than trying to help out a fellow Nissan enthusiast, you've got to go out and crap all over another member's post just to boost your ego. Why don't you take all of that negative energy and try to help out Nismoalty rather than try to diss me.

Get a life.
