Can you people believe this?
My fiance's sister needed to get a spare key for her Honda CrV, and it cost her, get this.
$45 for the key. $111 for parts and labor. I am sorry. I grew up driving Honda's, used to recomend Honda's, and planned on getting one myself, but to charge this much for a stinking key is outrageous. I almost bought an Element last year, but I am so glad I bought a Grand Vitara. Simple key. Oh my Flying Spagetti Monster, but this young Pastafarian is definately no longer a future Honda customer. |
that is expensive
Omg ewwwww talk about over priced!
y not just get it cut at a local hardware store.....thats what i did.. works fine.. costs about 5 bucks
my sister also has to get her spare key to her boyfriend's honda replaced.
not that this is relevent but honda's are notorious for being 'easy to jack'. |
i know what you mean i have a poniac montana extended mini van and an extra key for me is $57 it's because the keys have a special chip in them supposedly to make it harder to steal yeah right whatever anyway i don't know what the labor and parts they charged her for that is just ridiculous
Yar! Shiver me timbers.
yeah Honda's do cost much if you lose a key or somefin,my friend lost or broke his key and he spent like 50$ app. even tho he got it done from a locol mechanic or key maker whateva u call them....
but Honda's do run longer i guess |
You can't have an idiot repair a modern car, and that person deserves to be fairly compensated for their work and knowledge. It's called capitalism!
The nice thing about theSuzuki,is you could leave it unlocked, with the keys in it and no one would even look at it.
