My power outlet (to charge my phone) and radio won't turn on in my Honda...
...Odyssey. What could be wrong?

blown fuse. Look on your fuse panel for the power plug, probably a 10 or 15 amp fuse.
|
A fuse, look in your owners manual for the spot where the fuse box is. Normally around the foot pedals. Then look at the diagram of where your radio fuse is. Pull it out. Normally it will be burnt or blackened. They dont cost much. Buck or two. Good Luck

My first guess is that a fuse has blown. If you know where the fuses in your car are check them. When they are blown it's pretty obvious. Most gas stations sell replacement fuses. In fact, I even keep a set in my glove box.
If this is the problem and continues to re-occur you should have your electrical system checked out before you have a fire. Good luck! |
A fuse might have blown. Check the fuses first... as those are an easy fix.
Most fuses can be found by opening the drivers door, and there should be a panel near the side close to the steering wheel. :) |
