Ecotec 2.2L GM supercharger kit..any1 got it?

Just wondering if anyone has installed this kit yet? :dunno: supposively turning the stock 140hp engine to over 200hp or some gay crap like that...its the exact same s/c from the colbalt SS.

anyways anyone have it? i see its dropped in price quite a bit since they released it, $2459.99us at the moment.(this is the cheapest i could find it for... http://www.paceperformance.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=167186 )

technically i cant see this engine with stock internals lasting very long, even stock it feels like itd be blowing up after a few months of good abuse.:hitwithro

if ma memore serves me correctly the stock internals on a 2.2L ecotec will hold up to 250hp with no problem. juss look at the GM 2.2L ecotec build up book

I would recomend doing a 3800SC engine swap, it will be about the same price and can be made alot faster. Just a thought.

You are better off saving your money and geting a hahn racecraft turbo kit, which puts out 235whp.

The lighter you can make a fwd motor the better. I don't think too much of a 3800 in a small fwd. Although the measuring tape says that an L67 will fit in a Geo Metro convertable.

i was thinking about adding the SC kit in my 05 pursuit but i think it's gonna void my warranty, that's why i stuck to a full audio upgrade :P that's all i need!

i have your answer

For less money than a new turbo kit, you can buy a complete engine and transmision and wiring harness and pcm and intercooler and rads and intake tract, air filter housing, shifter cable and shifter. You will have all factory 2.0L engine internal components that were designed to last at over 240 hp forever. no tuning, no blowing your stuff up that wasn't designed for boost and no dealing with aftermarket companies that promise you the world and deliver components that don't work well with you specific combination. email me jphipwell@sympatico.ca for more info. all parts are out of a 2007 cobalt "ss" with 40,000 kms. paperwork to prove. i will give you everything you need to turn any cobalt or pursuit into a true ss under the hood. i'm looking for $2500 for everything, you know it won't take long to spend twice that on aftermarket parts that won't make much of a difference. call the wreckers and get prices on a used cobalt ss supercharger and engine and you won't believe how much money i'm giving away!!!!!!!!! not to mention all the extra's that make it a bolt in swap with no drilling, no instructions for tuning or welding and cutting!!!! if you know what this stuff is that i'm selling you should probably be interested because the stuff is real and is nice. you can call me at 905-688-2936 ....Johnny.
