That is one cool lookin car. One of my customers in Brampton has one. Silver.
YES!
that is exactly what that car needed!!! now its definately sex on wheels in black |
That looks really nice but why not just turbo or supercharge the 4 banger and keep the weight down? I wonder if they compensate for the extra weight ? I wonder if the 8 adds that much more weight to the front of the car? Hhhhmmmm. Now that i just read the first post ( i got to read stuff fully before typing lol) it looks like they do upgrade those things , damn! Still i wonder how hard it will be to change thing with it so tightly packed in the engine bay.
thats a load of questions bro, just look and enjoy.
HOLY . that thing is mad. and i loved the stock one too. for 18,000 maaan, i wish i had money..
Not a bad price either i'd say. Thats ing awesome. GM V8s are the .
Well it does looks a lot better than the regular one (which still looks good). I like the blacked out grill and dark rims. I would deffinately like to own one of those. I havent had that feeling for any new GM cars in a long time.
Makes me wonder how much it could be done for if you did it yourself.
400 HP v8 for base 18 grand? Are you serious? American $?
i think thats the package price of the conversion , which isnt that bad if you think about all the parts and the work thats going into it , plus there is a warranty as well.
flag on the valve cover kills it, looks like an oversized miata to me, guess i'd need to see it person to really give my opinion, but i'm not a fan.
we could always pretend that flag was japanese.. That way we could pride on a nation far far away.

Hey guys,
I love GM, but this looks impossible. If you look at the headers leaving the engine bay, it looks a little slim to be the LS2 headers. Also the air intake is so restricted based on the amount of air that is required to open up this bad boy, I dont think that this is for real. I have to see this one to believe. The solstice engine bay is WAY to small to fit in a LS2 not including a/c and all the bells. If they just added on a FAT turbo it would be more efficient in my opinion. Small air intake, small headers = decrease of flow = waste of $$$ and time. TURBO!!!! Good find |
They offer the LS2 package with a turbocharger.
AND BTW this is for real I dunno how, but they did manage to do this. |
