996 Porsche Show car with 6" lip

Just did my full interior in suede and did a custom fiberglass enclosure in the rear seats. Running 19x9 and 19x14 iForged Aeros on one side and Revs on the other side., thats right 19x14 in the rear with a 355/25/19 Pirelli Tires. Rear lip is a jaw dropping 6" wide. Car is on the cover of European Car Magazine this month March Issue. Car is currently supercharged with nitrous. Side by side the car is 6" wider than a Turbo or C4s, built with a custom metal widebody. Look for it at the upcoming shows in So. Cal, showing with the Europrojektz car crew.

I personally don't mind the bumper... set the car a little lower and i think it looks nice and agressive.

BTW it's the Hofele Design Turbo R bumper

Looks wicked. But whats with the different design rims on each side?

skillton 02-13-2005 01:50 AM

Nice cars, both wheel models are nice, but I think it's retarded to put different wheels on each side

I think the car looks like it was made to show all the choices they can do for you rims and all. :3gears:

adamo 02-13-2005 06:27 AM

All I can say is that those rims are real deep. Nice pics :thumbsup

ricernoob 02-13-2005 06:47 AM

not my taste but that thing probably looks insane in person.

DeAd-EyE 02-13-2005 01:12 PM

the amount of time that the guy spent on that car is nuts (he posts over @ 6speed and rennlist).

the car started out as a basic 99 C2.

As i recall he spent about 4-4.5K on the front end for the headlight conversion and bumpers and fenders and . Few grand on the rear end. the supercharger is about 9800$+install but brings the car upto turbokilling power. 1000$ for the rollbar, god knows how much for the stereo stuff and rims. 450$ for the shift knob, 450$ for the ebrake. probably just under 4grand for the seats (and the custom centers).

was it all worth it: hellz yeah (especially if a sponsor or shop picked up the tab).

fast show cars = :thumbsup

edit: specs on the supercharger for the 3.4L motor:

Power: 420 HP @ 6800 RPM’s
Torque: 340 TQ from 5000 RPM’s to 6800 RPM’s
Boost Pressure: 0.40 bar (6psi)

dyno graph: Click here (the baseline run was pretty weak too for these cars)
