Great handling decent acceleration i guess beat an S2000 by 2 cars dead stop to about 140 kmh so its not bad

I rented a Boxster S for two days during a visit to San Francisco about a year ago. I loved the car. Sure it has no room, but the power delivery is fantastic and I LOVE the mid-engine design. It's a great neutral handling car.

But, unless you really need a convertable, I'd recommend a Cayman S.

in a owner's perspective, it drives awesome... look beautiful... BUT.... cost a lot to maintain... just got her back from a service... new front brake rotors+pads (worn due to regular use), oil change, 4 wheel alignment = $2300 and took them a week to do the service....
when i go pick up my car... somehow the battery's dead (was perfect before it went in for the service)... that porsche dealer decides to keep it for another day to see what's wrong with the battery.... called me back next morning telling me my old battery's dead, so they have already replaced it with a new one (i thought this was free of charge since the battery somehow died in their hands, and they replaced the battery without my concent first)... went to pick up the car later that afternoon... they charged me $400 for the battery change (new battery + 1.5hr of labour for the battery change!?!? funny thing i changed my other car's battery the same day.. took me less than 5minutes).. !? ... oh... and they told me that i should pay for the battery change they're really nice to me already cuz they could tell porsche about my mods (dvd deck) and void my warranty or something... !?
