Would you buy a dell 30" monitor for $1600 for CAD

Im deciding to spend $1600 on a dell 3007wfp-hc 30" monitor for CAD.

I want to know your opinion if its worth the money.

not as a computer monitor I wouldn't... too slow of a response time I'm sure.

i have a 19inch lcd its its great (i think). nothing like a mac, but gets the job done

Well,.... my impulsive side took over my good judgement and bought the monitor. Im having mixed feelings right now :thumbsup: because the amount of cash I had fork out came up to $1900 w/ taxes and accidental warranty.

Ill let you guys know if its any good, for work or for gaming. At least theres a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, so if it sucks; all I have to do is return it. Plus when the accidental warranty almost expires, Ill SMASH the monitor and get a new one, FREE!!!

Yup, I've connected my computer to my TV. Love video cards with S video outs.

would have been alot cheaper to buy a tv and hook it up, I bought a 50" sony lcd tv and it came to the same price with a stand

are there any differences between a comp mon and a TV? Well, I mean besides the input/output connecters are different.
