New to GTcars and a new truck

Hey guys I'll take this opportunity to introduce myself, then right afterwards pick all you chevy s10 owners brains.

Well like it says in the title I just picked up a new truck, a 2002 Chevy s-10 extreme. The truck itsself is stock, but at the same time i'm no rookie when it comes to building cars. My last platform was a 94 Honda Accord, and she was featured at a couple shows such as, Scrape by the Lake 2005, and Dark knights 2006. Sadly with all the money and love i put into the car she became a trailer queen/garage hog, and just wasnt driveable. So I sold it and picked up the S-10. The difference in the cars themselves is rediculas, but at the same time I cant wait to get busy on this hog.

Here lay's my problem. This s-10 has a govener on it and I cant pass 160km, I was hoping you guys could lead me threw bypassing it, or if thats the limitation of the motor itsself. If it is, there could be a swap going down real soon.

Thanks guys.

no he's a buddy of mine, and arch rival in most car shows. Both cars went up for sale around the same time, and mine sold first. If you see him hang that over his head. LoL

Thanks guys.

Yup, a power tuner will get rid of that for ya. To be perfectly honest though I don't see going above 160 as a good idea in a stock S10.

Very easy change to adjust the speed limiter with HPTuners.

I can do any supported car or trunk for the cost of the licence $100.
