Knocking noise from front right?

A friend's 2004 corolla is making a knocking noise coming from the front right usually when on a ramp entering the highway. Warped rotor possibly?

No, rotors would cause ur steering wheel to vibrate when braking. i would u suggest gettin that checked out. most of the time ull find ur problem is the cv shaft/ aka drive shaft. mayb the boot is ripped n lost its grease. iv ran into that alot. hope that helps

Yeah he's planning on getting it checked out. What about rear drums, I'm starting to hear the drums making a rubbing sound under braking. Does something have to be replaced or just serviced.
