Radiator Fan Issue!!!
Alright, hopefully someone can help.
Recently, my temperature gauge reached its max and I was pissing my pants..... so, I turn the car off, open the hood and I notice that the radiator fan is not working... so, I checked the connections, everything seemed fine, then I tested the radiator fan manually by connecting it from the battery straight and it works fine...
What could be the problem? I checked all the connections and I even checked if there is any power coming from the cables to the fan but there is no power...
anyone suggest something?

no damage was done to the engine ... thankfully
hmmm .. i should check the relay fuse box and see, but i think its the on board computer just not giving signal to the radiator fan when its time for it to come on..... either way, ill find a way around it
thanks guys!
p.s. and if anyone has any other thoughts, pop them up....

thats a relay for sure.....if u are stuck and dont have a relay just direct wire it to a switch(dont forget to fuse it) and then you can just turn the fan on whenever ya want........ did this on a lt-1 swap i helped with in a rx7 as the fan needed to be on all the time due to heat issues.
to determine if its a relay.start the car and pull out ur coolant temp sensor. fans should come on right away.it helped me when i had the same issue. or if thats doesnt solve ur issue check your fan control switch. they tend to go bad in honda/acuras
thanks for the replies guys.... it was actually the wire, it wasn't plugged in all the way, and that was also what was the problem for my CHECK ENGINE light. I was determined one day, got under the hood and traced the wire, un-plugged it, cleaned it, plugged it in, fan came on...
thanks for the msgs.

i had the same problem 2 winters ago lol (ford windstar)
i just noticed the needle shoot past H one day with the check engine light flashing
i checked my coolant level which was fine....only to realize the fan wasnt working
i got it checked by several mechanics.....but they never got to the bottom of it cause the fan always got back up when the mechanic finally showed up
i still havent done much about it and it operates in hot summer days...but i think
the problem is still existant
