Saturn Redline = fast car?

I know the red lines were quick for a 4 banger but I don't see how a stock one can just walk an LT1 at the start of a roll. Is the LT1 driver just that bad of a driver.

archemedes street rep is low. keep going

the driver is that bad.Car and driver (I think) did a test of a bunch of the sport compact cars, the saturn, neon, wrx, cobalt ss, and evo, the saturn was the slowest

the redline is the SAME as the cobalt ss.....and no they couldnt walk a LT1 stock vs stock.

it would need quite a bit to do that from what they showed on that show, stock they run a bit slower than a stock v6 f body

The Z28 probably wasnt even trying... it was just traveling at normal speed while the saturn punched it

.. I think 1. it was staged, and 2. the z28 hit it at the end probably.. I would cry if my car would get beat that bad (considering that was an LT1, and mines a 6) by a saturn.. :banghead:
