I hate SPYWARE!!
Whoever writes these programs should be shot, ran over by a dumptruck, and then torn into pices by rabid octopus'.
I keep getting it out of nowhere, and Im running all this programs.. I guess I should stop going to serial/cracks sites lol. Usually windows popup blocker stops all the crap for killing me.
I would reformatt rightnow, but my xp and motherboard cd are in my apartment in minneapolis. Ah Im gonna have to put up with this **** for a few weeks more lol.

Only program I'm running right now is Norton Internet Security 2006 (with over a 6 year license 
) and I never have problems with spyware or viruses or anything. Tho, like I think it was paarman that said, I don't go to "3rd world" websites. :P BitLord is the only program I use, and never had a problem with isohunt.com except for a few popups every now and then.

lol... yeah spyware sucks... Adric, you have the best programs for them, Im betting its some **** that got installed in your windows directory that is "holding the window open" for anything else. Once you get a self installer, your vulnerable, my sister and mom get it all the time, its such a pita... Have you done scans before startup?
I have about five different spyware, adware programs that I run all the time and since I've been doing that I've never had any problems. I also run an antivirus program a couple times a week just to be safe.

Use Mozilla Fire Fox as a web browser. Ever since I tried it, I was hooked. IMO its a much better browser then IE.
Only way you will get Spyware is if you download it (ie virus like thing).
For cleaning Spyware I use Symantec Antivirus, Pest Patrol, and the Microsoft one. Those 3 seem to be able to get 99.9% combined.

agreed. As for the porno situation. One word: Newsgroups. Unlimited porno all organized by category, series, movies, everything, and no popups. Just spam messages that are pretty easy to sort through
