Yep O'Reilly's is running short on people right now so the store manger asked me if I wanted to be a Night Manger. I have always turned down management positions because of the little **** ant $0.35 an hour raise they give you and the fact I hate the place I work at doesn't help either. Well, the store manger said he could help me out and was able to get me a $1.25/hr raise which isn't that bad. Basically I will do what I do now (work until close) but now I have to count the safe and do some computer work at the end of the day. What I find odd is that I was promoted at all. Me and the other part time guy (fellow student) are the biggest cut ups there. Me and the other part timer I have done every thing from racing on the pallet jack to covering the parking lot in smoke (with help from the company truck). Our boss is real about the dress code and stuff so I'm ordering a few choice shirts from ebay now so work will be a little more interesting. LoL I still find it funny I'm now a manger,I feel like the guy from office space.

I went into oreilys and the dumbass behind the counter couldnt figure out how old I was. He was all adding it up....Im like 18? He had my drivers liscense in his hand.....sad

Tonight was my first night to close and it was cake (even though I'm sick right now). I might stick it out at Oreillys for an extra month or two so that way I can at least add night manger to my list whenever I have to write out an application for another job.
