Question on seatbelt cleaning...

Ok I got ahold of some used seatbelts from a friend that are tan which I need to replace my grey ones.

Now how would I go about cleaning the meterial without fading it or damaging it? It's got grease on it and dirt and some unknown tar . They were free, so I kinda want to try to fix them up before giving up and tossing them.

Also the plastic is kinda messed up. So how would one take apart the plastic peices? Not talking about the "winch" assembly. Just the parts where the seatbelts go into and connect together.

Heres an example:

Any help is much apreciated!!

Ha! I think if I just throw the whole thing in there, I'll either f-up the washing machine, the seatbelts, or both . Any other ideas?

Maybe if I can figure out how to remove them from 80% of everything it could be possible.... But.... .

Super Clean is really good but to be safe. I would try it on a spot that is not seen to make sure it will not do mess it up
