Door Panel Conversion

Ok! Anybody have any tips or instructions for converting the door panels on my 99 camaro from the original door panels to some T/A door panels. I'm redoing my interior and think they would look killer in my car. There are some very vague instructions here in the tutorial area. But I don't want to get into it without at least having some idea of what I'm doing since there is cutting involved. Any tips you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated. Anybody else done this? Have pics after install? Thanks again!

I did it! Not hard at all. Just make sure you have all the parts for the T/A door. Another thing you'll need, but is hard to obtain is the wiring for the power mirrors off a T/A.

The only modification is you will need to cut off the Camaro arm rest posts. They stick out like a sour thumb and will need to go before the door panel will fit. Use a dremmel. I don't really trust a hacksaw in this area. Plus the dremmel will only take seconds to cut them off . After that it's smooth sailing.

Cut off posts.

Make new holes.

The finished product.

Enjoy!
