I need to Change my Window Motor for the 3rd time in 4 years and is the same driver side and the other side is ingup as well. My uncle (electric mechanic) said that he change those motors a lot on Camaros and Trans Am. Does anyone else have that problem?

no but the motors should last longer then that... unless u keep buying used motors?? Id say there something electical shorting out

They are always new that what i dont get it. well maybe is the Brand that suck i guess. they cost me like 70 or 80 dollars if i remember right.

ive always had problems with window motors on other cars thats why i have rollers on my windows now

i bet its one electrical problem that keeps shorting them out because they are going out way faster than they should, its probably just a short somewhere

I've changed window motors on both sides twice in the last 2 years. All motors were brand new.

Not sure, If i get a chace I'll check though. I bought them at...Advance Auto Parts? pretty sure.mine were also around 80 bucks, but all that went out except for the for two were under the warranty of the new ones we bought, if that makes sense.

if it helps, my car is a 95 3.8 camaro.

My driver side went the other day in my car, same side went when i had my red firebird so i guess they do go often in them.
