Redo Berger

I am going to redo my berger panel because the guy that did it for me before did a ****** job and the paints peeling in places.. I plan to just rattle can the panel gloss black.. So what steps am I going to need to go through to get this looking good? Please would someone be able to list a detailed step list so I can do this right? Like what sand paper to use and the steps of using it.... Everything needed..

Please help!

i really love the looks of mine till the car gets dirty then you cant tell a diffference between the two colors

Just do what I did (I recently had to redo mine, I didn't clear over it ).

Lightly sand with either 800 or 1000 grit automotive sandpaper and wash it down. Let it dry. Then give it a light coat, let it dry (about an hour between coats). Then keep increasing the amount of paint, till your satisfied with it. Then let it all dry for about 4-6 hours. Then clear over it (do the same as the other steps). If you take it easy and slow, it should come out just as good.

If not,... you can always go back to primer and start over .

My friends dad friend has a paint booth and I may be able to go over there and paint it with his materials for free.. yay lol

i did mine myself.. theres a really good walkthrough floating aroudn somwehre.. i rattle canned mine cleared it and everything in gloss black and it looks great
