I know i have made a thread like this before but i decided to not get stripes and to paint it myself after i get some training from my friend who works a local body shop. I really like black but decided against it b/c of how bad it shows dirt/scratches....et cetera...im open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

oh yeah i really dont like red on my car. no offense to those with red cars but it seems like every car i have seen like mine is red or white...i like the gray the my car is too but i dont know what its called its not factory and was actually a really bad job.

well, go with a form of gunmetal or charcoal. Your best bet is go to a paint shop, and ask to look through their paint books. You can look at all kinds of stock color for different cars, or aftermarket colors. The way I found the blue for my car was to go to the 'new' car show at Pittsburgh convention center, where thy have all the new makes and models, with the cars in different colors, and displays set up with all the cars' available colors painted on it. I saw the color and was just like "that is it."

it wont always be that clean! my yellow camaro could be ****** fricken dirty as hell and it looked so pretty all the time cause u couldnt tell. somethign to think about...lol

Black is sexy as hell when clean and waxed but it's hard work keeping it that way. Go with a pearl. A pearl silver or grey would be tight.

i personally would go with a green flake with a black overcoat. so at night it looks black but during the day it has a green tint to it.

darker colors may be harder to keep clean but personally i think they look a lot better
