well the top is currently off my car and it rattles like hell when i hit bumps at certain spots. you think i could shove some kind of sound deadening between like the plastic and the top and it would stop it from rattling? is there anything i can use as a substitute for sound deadening until i get some money for the good stuff?

I'd grab some foam and toss that in there.

foam is a decent temp solution (just remeber if it gets wet get it dry or your holding water against your metal parts)

haha exactly what i was thinking...i used some on my door when i put it on. My basement celing has this foam pad thing on it that is pretty much useless b/c its only like 8x5 so i guess thatd be good enough. thanks for the help chad and steve
