the storage area in front of the shifter.... looks retarded and is basicly useless... it needs something................. i know Autometer discontinued the gauge bezel they made for it:banghead: ..... i was thinkin of cutting a screen or something into it

What I did was install a '97-'02 console, it'll leave a gap between it and the dash so I bought some plastic and cut out two holes and installed two autometer gauges in there.
I thought it looked good because like you I think that big gap is really stupid looking.

I just took that whole piece out. Cleans up the look of the area and I personally like the look of haveing the dash seperate from the center console.
