got my tips

well i got some WS6 tips on ebay. they were dirt cheap and installation will be a breeze since theyre offset just like what i have now.

i got them cuz i hate dual duals and these will fit perfectly in the bumper, only problem is, the finish is ugly just like what i have now. so what kind of options do i have for these? every car i see them on theyre just like this, dirty and plain. could i polish them up or would they look weird?

i'd clean them, but as for polishing, they come from the factory with this natural aluminum look. so i think polishing them would look funny...

Yea them tips from the factory turned ****** fast, when I bought my formula the tips looked just like that. I would try polishing them somewhat or paint them black.

well like i mentioned, it would require more modification since the stock tail pipes are offset, plus these were dirt cheap. dont even wanna say

I'm gonna think they would look best polished, or at least a dull aluminum color.

Can you polish the lip on them and like paint the rest of them black? I think that may look cool.

Caleb I thought you were smarter than this.... if they are actually aluminum they will polish just fine.

Go buy a couple different wire brush's for an angle grinder and start workin the over. Start with the most coarse and work you way to the more fine brush. You should see the aluminum start to smooth out. You could go all the way to a mirror polish, but I think that would be overkill. And to help keep the polish look, buy some high-temp clear coat and spray them before you put them on. An hours worth of work and you should have them looking a lot better.
