Wonder if anyone here has done a v6 to v8 swap & set it up oldschool. I have a few questions concerning the ecm & wiring of the engine box.

yeah ummm.....don't know where it's at but someone put a carbed 305 in a 94 once i will see if i can find him if you ever come back and post again

I remember some guy doin it with a 4th gen firebird too, Id have to look for it though.

if doing it carbed the ecm can go, the trans will have to change too. Only wires needed are 12 volt coil, alternator and temp. You will lose use of teh factory gauges though

Thanks guys. I have a 383 w/ th 400 trans I'm planning on fitting into the car. I was able to pull the old v6 with trans connected out from the front but not to sure I can get the v8 & trans in the same way. If I have to drop the k-member to get it in.......so be it. If anyone has more insite on the swap please feel free to post. Thanks again.
