I found this hood and thought it might look good on the Trans Am but the problem is that i only could find it in Carbon Fiber and im not a fan of CF. I was wondering if anyone else has seen one of these hoods in anything other than CF, but it would have to be this style because i have seen a 3 inch cowl but it had sharp edges that didnt flow with the cars line unlike this hood which it has the smoothed edges which flow with the car.

What's the problem with carbon fiber? you don't like the look? Well that isn't a problem, you do know that you can paint it like any other material, right? The reason you see people with the "bare" CF pieces is just because they like it that way or they want people to know they have a CF hood.

yeah personally im not a big fan of CF like i used to be and wasnt sure if it was possible to paint over cf, bc when i found it the all cf hood wouldnt look right on an all white car unless i did something else to the car but i want to keep the all white look to it, bc i have alot of polished items i want to buy for it also.

paint it just like glass, only question is cost. Carbon tends to cost more than glass

this hood is roughly 800 before shipping, then i would see if my uncle would try and paint it being he used to own a paint shop.
