Dual 2-ohm coils. The sub has been used on and off for about a year and a half. I'd say it spent the better part of 6 months in the corner of my living room due to my old sub amp spontaneously combusting.

The box itself is built from 3/4" MDF with plenty of bracing inside, and finished in charcoal grey carpet. Volume is about 2.85ft^3 as per reccommendation by Adire for a Q alignment of .707. The sub hits extremely low in this box, but if I had my way with it again I might shrink the volume down a little to make the sound a little tighter. You could always throw a few cinder blocks inside to cure that. PM me if you need the dimensions of the box, but off the top of my head it's about 16" tall if that helps anybody.
