New Seats?

Ive got a 94' v6, I dont think that matters, but anyway, how hard is it to install a set of racing seats for my front seats? Like if they didnt come with brackets would they still fit? I dont have a power seat and am not looking to get one. Thanks.

I bought a Sparco Fighter racing seat a while back, and they didnt make a GM application for the runners, so I just made my own. I took two square 1/8 inch steel pipes and used them as the brackets for the runners to go on.

Corbeau seats is what i'd go with. They are reasonably priced, and look alot like the Sparcos.

Is my favorite if you dont want adjustable seats. They're reasonably priced as well.

Easiest way i've found to make the runners is just to cut off the brackets on the stock runners and weld / attach them to the ones you've made. I wouldnt call doing it 'difficult', but you probally need to know your way around some tools.

does anyone know where to get standard medium blue seat belt webbing for a 1968 camaro. i have the old belts but they are covered in oil and i sent them out to a seat belt restoration place but they only specialize in black belts and they do not know where to get the 3 bar webbing for a 68 camaro. any help would be appreciated.

If you need or want new seat brackets, you can have them custom made here:
http://www.racing-seats-usa.com/sp.html

They will make them for a wide variety of cars/seats. When I bought my maro, I completely stripped out the interior and put everything back brand new. I bought Sparco seats and purchased custom made seat brackets from the link above and they fit perfectly. Work very nice too.
