Paint cracked

Paint cracked
So I got rearended Saturday night going home.There are a few scraches and one good indent where his licences plate bolt me.From two feet away you can't see anything wrong with the bumper.But the paint is cracked in a couple places.Now,my question is.Can they fix my bumper without having the cracks come back?They said they will strip the paint off and repaint my bumper and gf.Will this keep the cracks from coming back?

IF theyre giving it a new coat I assume so. I have the same issue, havent gotten mine fixed, but its just the paint underneath that cracked, as long as there is no damage to the bumper you should be fine.
