car towing

i have a car in ajax that needs to be towed to scarborough. what are good towning companies out there that can do this for a reasonable price. is this the good way of transporting a car, or is there another better way (other than puttign insurance on it and driving it)?
thanks in advance

phatgreatwall has a little shameless behaviour in the past
if it's a lowered or sports car, then get a flatbead, i believe all towing companies charges the same per kilometer, unless u buy caa, wait a week, then they'll give u 5 tows as far as 200km for free if u get the CAA PLUS

Unless you know somebody with a truck that has class 2 tow hitch.. then you can rent a car dolley or flat bed dolley from them.

sonomagirl street rep is low. keep going
if you have a cellphone, a lot of companies these days are offering a roadside assistance with your plan that usually takes affect within 24-48 hours. they won't cover the whole tow, but you can get a flatbed and they pay a portion of it. that might be an option....
