I was led to believe Royal Purple is a "racing" oil and not really needed
unless you have cash to burn and are autocrossing on the weekends. Sounds
like another marketing ploy since it seems no one can provide scientific,
impartial test data to prove otherwise.

Please don't confuse him with facts. Some of us are still waiting for the
connection between his lower fuel ecomomy and the "questionable quality" of
M1.
