Fs: 1986 Mr2(na) - $300
I'm selling my '86 NA. It was purchased in December '05 and used as a winter driver until April of this year, after which it was taken off the road. It hasn't been driven since late April.
It would make a great parts car or, with a decent amount of work, it could be someone's driver again. The title is clean and is in my name. The car has around 220,000km and is currently driveable given a battery (but wouldn't advise going far due to the leaking rear left brake line).
The Good
-All electrics work, including the power mirrors
-Front badge intact
-Motor starts every time, runs well, idles smooth, doesn't leak oil (see below for coolant leak)
-New or replaced ignition parts including distributor, coil, wires
-Transmission shifts smoothly, no grinding, no 4th gear popout
-Seats are in good shape, dash is clean, (door panels have rips though)
-Comes with a box of spare parts including new coil, ECU, aftermarket wheel and a bunch more
The Bad
-Car needs a battery
-The green paint is a spraycan job
-All tires are winters, of which the front-passenger has a slow air leak
-I'm sure the ball joints and tie rods have seen better days
-The rear driver-side brake line has burst
-The front airdam is loose and the front passenger fender is rusted despite being painted over
-One of the coolant hardlines in the engine bay is rusted through (and hack-job taped up) resulting in a coolant leak after shutting down
The Ugly
-The frame is in rough shape and the driver's floor has a significant hole under the pedalbox
I think I've covered anything. Anyone is welcome to check it out at their leisure. The car is located around the corner from Steeles & Islington. Asking $300 for everything.
