Still far away, and again, no access for down to earth car enthusiasts(us). Only club members(Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes...that's what they say) and once a month meeting.
Where is normal track, where you can go and race it every weekend or somethig, pay it per day and have fun there.?

Have you ever been to a lapping day?? If not, read up on it..you might learn that not everything is handed to you on a silver platter. Things can't always be 10 minutes away and be every day.

Why couldn't they put a track up nearby for once, not out in the friggin sticks where it takes a good portion of the day to get to.

Something between Toronto and Barrie would be nice, hell even something in or around Guelph.

the amount of red tape involved in building a track nearby would be almost impossible. if you could somehow convince local city councillors to agree to the creation of a track in their district (which most likely won't happen), you'd probably get a huge negative response by local residents. and it's understandable, who'd want a noisy track in their backyards? it's almost as bad as having a landfill.

Lapping days are greate, horever you have to be a member of a club and they have those days quite rare. I don't mind beeing some club member, it is just accesebility for lapping day is hard. It is just not often, and not that open.

That is totally untrue, I have gone to more lapping days where you don't have to have a membership then lapping days where you need a membership. Most of the non club days happen at Shannoville it's a bit of a drive but in the morning around six when you finally get out that way it is beautiful but the drive home usually is a bitch. Also most lapping days are around 100.-135. but if you want the best track(Mosport) it will start around 175. and up. The 175 deal was the Mustang clubs mid week lapping day totally worth the day off and the money spent.

P.S. Dunnville,TMP Cayuga and now Caloebogie aren't going to open until they are allowed to by the local governments because of whiners that live near the tracks.

dude you dont even have a ing car... why the are you crying?

if you had a ing clue you would kick yourself in the face for being so stupid.

if you had a ing clue... had a ing car... had a ing job.... you could do a lapping day somewhere at least once a week.

go get all 3.... then hit up a track.

then have your mommy tuck you in so that you stop your senseless whining about the same thing over and over and over and over..... even after being told about something we call reality. figure it out.

you could rent ing shannonville yourself, then get 10 people together and you would all pay less than 100bucks for the evening.
