Exclamation Help with engines!!!

I got a 1984 dodge ram D100 with a 225 slant 6 in it. It barely goes over 100km/h. i want to get somthing with a little more juice in it. i was told that the 318 and the 360 V8 engines are direct mounts to my tranny(torqueflite 727). Does anyone know where i could get one of these 2 engines for a decent price???? i want it completely stock in running condition and complete(or close to it). Also, how hard is it to do an axel flip???

Let me know please!!

need trany

I do lots of engine swaps. You need a housing for your trany the guts will fit but the housing will not connect to the 318 0r any small block. You will need mounts for the 318.All wiring will work.If you have lean burn you should change to electronic ignition kit costs about 250 buck from dodge. You can search wrecking yards for the kit 2 but rare to find now a days.all linkgae for trany + speedo cable will work.get a truck engine + trany and life will be good.good luck.

there are a few engine shops in Toronto...will cost you around $1800 for a fresh crate 318 engine.....dont put the 84 D-100 318's cause they suck.....put a higher rated one.....
