the highest performing cars have long overhangs

I think the hight to length ratio of the *ideal* car is 11 to 1

Coicidentally that's also the ideal length to width ratio of a . 11 inches for every 1 inch of width.

not saying i like the car, but the Mclarin SLR....look at how much empty space there is in the front of the car. HUGE over hang (in the front at least...)

the weight in that area is next to nothing though, overhang is not just the length of the car in front of the wheels, its also its weight. I can tape a huge stick to a ferrari and say it has a huge overhang.
